We believe millennials can change the world.

SCROLL DOWN

We believe millennials can change the world.

Global Millennials for Progress is a movement aimed at mobilizing millennials around the world to build sustainable solutions to global issues related to education, environment, health, human rights, and poverty.

Why now?

The world is plagued with problems related to education, environment, health, human rights, and poverty. The conventional approach to addressing these issues has been to engage in various one-off and largely disjointed efforts. Hence, these issues persist and have worsened.

Why millennials?

We believe millennials (those born between 1980 - 2000) are best able to help solve the world's most pressing issues given their critical mass globally at 2.5 billion, personal motivation to contribute to worthy causes, and innovative use of technology.

How do we work?

This site is our central hub where visitors can sign-up for membership, join a community of global change agents, learn about our focus area issues, and take action. Supporters can mobilize through a variety of methods: anything from encouraging friends to join, to posting a picture or hashtag on social media, to taking part in one of our campaigns, to attending a event in one of our networks.

We mobilize people, money, and energy to enact change.

Millennials are at a tipping point. Currently the largest generation population in the United States at 75 million and totaling 2.5 billion globally, millennials are now able to combine their passions with their pocket books and influence to enact sustainable change.

We mobilize people, money, and energy to enact change.

We believe a quality education is a human right for everyone, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, gender, or nationality.

We believe that global warming and the condition of our environment is the most important issue impacting our world currently.

We believe small actions to build education, make preventative vaccines available, and improve governmental health systems can drastically improve global health.

We believe every human being regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, orientation, age, nationality, or point of view should be protected, treated equitably, and afforded the same access to opportunity.

We believe it is possible to eradicate extreme global poverty.

Human Rights

Take action with #GlobalMillennials against U.S. President Donald Trump's discriminatory Muslim ban:

Within U.S. President Donald Trump's first two weeks in office, he has taken unprecedented actions to rollback economic, environmental, and diplomatic, policies. Among President Trump's most disturbing decisions to date was signing executive orders banning individuals from majority Muslim countries as well as Syrian refugees from traveling to and entering the United States.

Poverty

Help us in building an orphanage and providing longterm care in Cape Town:

In partnership with Love to Langa, GMFP has committed to mobilizing at least 1,000 millennials globally and raising $45,000 to construct new building facilities for Hazel's Centre of Hope, a small orphanage with leaky roof and failing structures in the Cape Town Suburb town of Phillippi. The new Global Millennials for Progress - Hazel's Centre of Hope facilities, slated for winter 2018, will be able to serve more children in a safe and secure environment.
